My Fabricology - Saturday 15th Febraury 10am to 1.30pm - light lunch included
Come along to this amazing class run by Tamara and go home with an exquisite fabric flower and the knowledge to make more. A very small class group so you get plenty one on one time. Everything provided just bring a pair of scissors.
What You’ll Learn:
*How to prep fabrics with molding solution & types of fabric that are suitable.
*The best way to work & cut fabric for maximum shaping
*The techniques to turn a flat petal into a shaped & cupped one.
*The metal tool types & uses
*Flower assembly & construction (for either a brooch (to wear) OR stem (for a vase))
What Kit Includes:
*Pre prepped fabrics approx A4 in size (enough to make extra flowers at home!)
*Petal pattern template - think stylised David Austin rose.
*Stamens (flower centres)
*Brooch findings
*Wire stems & extra wires
What We’ll Use During Class Time (provided):
*French flower making tools (these get hot!)
*Cotton gloves for heat protection
*Scissors
*Sponges
*Glue guns & craft glue

What to bring:
Your favourite sharp craft scissors (the special coating in the fabric can make your sewing scissor dull fast so don’t use these!)

While we will try to transfer you to another of our classes, this may not be possible so the below will apply.
8 weeks before the workshop: 90% of amount paid returned (as refund or store credit)
5-8 weeks before Workshop: 50% of class costs will be returned (as a store credit)
2-5 weeks prior event: 25% of class costs returned (as a store credit)
Two weeks prior to event: No refund
On occasion we may have to postpone or cancel a class, if the class does not met minimum numbers or for some other unavoidable circumstance. We will always try to give you 48hrs notice, and an offer of an alternative date or a full refund will be made. We will not be liable for other costs or expenses that you may incur.
