Come join Alison from Lorelei Jayne and make a zippered pouch. This class is aimed at beginner sewists who have some knowledge of their sewing machines. Learn how to insert a zipper and walk away with a finished project at the end. If you're quick you could even sew two pouches.
This is a small class of 6, you must have knowledge of your sewing machine and be a confident beginner sewist.
You will need to bring:
- Sewing machine, cord and pedal, matching and thread
- Cutting board, ruler and rotary blade (if you don't cut your pattern out beforehand)
- Sewing notions, scissors, snips, unpicker and binding clips.
- to make one pouch you will need to bring 1 fat quarter for exterior, 1 fat quarter for lining, 1 fat quarter of fusible woven interfacing and 1 fat quarter light fusible fleece. plus one 8" zip or larger.

While we will try to transfer you to another of our classes, this may not be possible so the below will apply.
8 weeks before the workshop: 90% of amount paid returned (as refund or store credit)
5-8 weeks before Workshop: 50% of class costs will be returned (as a store credit)
2-5 weeks prior event: 25% of class costs returned (as a store credit)
Two weeks prior to event: No refund
On occasion we may have to postpone or cancel a class, if the class does not met minimum numbers or for some other unavoidable circumstance. We will always try to give you 48hrs notice, and an offer of an alternative date or a full refund will be made. We will not be liable for other costs or expenses that you may incur.
