Wild Flowers by Su Blackwell is a recollection of early childhood journeys across the British landscape in discovery of native flora. As a child holidaying in Britian, Su was given ‘I Spy’ books to keep her occupied, these included ‘I Spy Nature’,’I Spy in the Countryside’ and ‘I Spy Wild Flowers’, from which she would delight in spotting the items and putting a tick next to the accompanying illustration. Wild Flowers is inspired by these early childhood memories and a continuation of Su’s never ending enthusiasm.
